Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, set up, and manage Facebook/Meta paid campaigns for iGaming products (online casino, slots, sports betting – where allowed by local Canadian regulations and licences).
  • Build well?structured campaign setups (campaigns/ad sets/ads) across different Canadian GEOs (provinces), interests, placements, and creative concepts.
  • Use different optimization goals (Install, Registration, First Deposit, Purchase events) to improve CPA and ROAS over time for Canadian traffic.
  • Monitor campaigns on a daily basis, analyze key metrics (CTR, CPC, CPM, CR, CPA, ROAS), and implement ongoing optimizations to hit performance targets.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to prepare detailed briefs, define messaging, value propositions, new game features, and bonus offers that resonate with Canadian audiences and drive conversions.
  • Run A/B tests on different creatives (video, static, carousel), copy, headlines, and formats, and use learnings to scale winning approaches in the Canadian market.
  • Work on pixel/event configuration and ensure that all key in?app and web events are tracked and attributed correctly across devices and platforms.
  • Test and use different bidding strategies (lowest cost, cost cap, bid cap) and manage budgets dynamically (daily adjustments, rapid tests, scaling and downsizing).
  • Navigate Meta's policies related to iGaming and Canadian?specific rules: request whitelisting/authorization when needed, monitor account health, and prevent ad disapprovals and account bans.
  • Ensure that all campaigns and creatives comply with Canadian advertising standards for iGaming, including restrictions on targeting minors, limitations on inducements/bonuses advertising, and clear responsible gambling messaging.
  • Prepare daily and weekly performance reports including KPIs, key learnings, next steps, and new testing hypotheses, with a clear focus on Canadian market performance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands?on experience managing performance campaigns in Facebook/Meta Ads Manager, preferably in iGaming, fintech, or other high?risk industries.
  • English and Russian B2.
  • Strong knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, including campaign structures, optimization events, tracking, custom audiences, and lookalike audiences.
  • Experience in iGaming or affiliate traffic is a strong plus (deposit events, FTDs, retention metrics).
  • Ability to work against strict KPIs and optimize campaigns based on data rather than intuition.
  • Solid analytical skills and experience working in Excel/Google Sheets (dashboards, cohorts, funnels).
  • Upper intermediate English for effective communication with suppliers, partners, and internal teams; familiarity with the Canadian market is an asset.
  • Experience working with Meta policies, especially in restricted categories (online gambling and games), with a strong focus on maintaining account health and compliance 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other paid social channels (TikTok Ads, Snapchat, Twitter/X Ads) for Canada or North America.
  • Experience working with MMPs (Adjust, AppsFlyer) or analyzing post install events for iGaming apps.
  • Knowledge of iGaming regulations and advertising specifics across Canadian provinces (e.g., Ontario AGCO/iGaming Ontario guidelines, CGA Code for Responsible Gaming Advertising) and other key regions.
